Isaiah 45:15 (ASV)

Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.

Inspiration

Sometimes God feels hidden.

I call His name.
And heaven is quiet.

But hidden does not mean gone.

A cloud can cover the sun.
The sun still burns.
I still gives its light.

Grace is similar.
Grace is there, in the dark.
Grace is there, in silence,
Grace is there, even when I can’t see.

Isaiah 45:15

“Truly You are a God who hides Himself,
the God and Savior of Israel.”

The One who hides is the One who saves.
The One who saves is the One who hides.

His hiding does not mean He is far away.
It is His mercy.
His mercy grows where I cannot see it.
Yet.

I don’t wait for proof.
I believe.
I simply believe.

I cannot see His hand.
But His unseen hand is holding me.
He is still my Savior.
He is still my song.
